The HyperBurst foam in this one is actually soft and responsive (firmer than Rebel v2). It has no insole and therefore no arch support! Weird as Max Road and Ride has alot of arch support. NB 1080 v12 - $160.The ZoomX top layer of foam is very soft and compliant/pleasant to run on, and helps give it a little pop too despite the shoe being somewhat heavy, while the bottom layer helps stabilize the ZoomX. Something like the Invincible was a bit too unstable for me to enjoy regularly but this feels like the best of both worlds. Both the Ride and Rincon are good options if you're a casual, as they're light and can go fast enough for non-plated shoes. Otherwise many others have given good advice on plated options.
