I shot the XD terrifically, especially as a newbie. I noted the features on the XD that were lacking on the Glock (ambi mag release, grip safety, chamber loaded indicator, striker-cocked indicator). And I went w/ the XD. I couldn't see paying more and getting less. XDs are at least as dependable as Glocks.

More IMO, not because of the weight difference, but because of the higher bore axis of the XD. A higher bore axis creates more flip. Another reason why I prefer glocks over XD's. I don't own an XDSC, but between my 19 and XD9 service, the XD has more muzzle flip. Also just a guess, but I bet the XDSC and the 19 are pretty close in weight.Same happened to me on Tuesday. My Glock friend has the 19 and I have the 5.25 9mm. He had never fired mine in the few months I've owned it. After shooting the 5.25 he came back saying it was smooth like butter. No issues,,,,, That was until I shot my XD sub. In my opinion no comparison with accuracy. At least for me personally. Now,, I realize I have more trigger time on my XD but I really did shoot the XD much better. I know, grip angle and all but I actually shoot the Glock 30 better than the XD 45's and the 19 about the same as my XD Service.
