IF it isn't, you can swap the front and rear covers from your old ES motor to the FM motor. The innards are the same on all of them. The ES front cover has the shifter motor and associated plugs and that's the only difference. When she first starts out with a cold engine, shifing from 1st to 2nd, you have to hit the shift button 3 or 4 times before it will shift into 2nd. After running the bike for awhile and the engine is really warmed up, it will shift alot better.
